Demi Lovato’s Emotional BREAKDOWN On The Night She Split From Max Ehrich

Demi Lovato opens up about her break up with Max Erich in the final segment of her YouTube docuseries Dancing with the Devil.

In the final episode of her documentary “Dancing with the Devil,” Demi Lovato opens up about her short-lived engagement with Max Ehrich.

On April 6, Demi Lovato released the fourth and final episode of her YouTube docuseries Dancing with the Devil, in which she addressed her tumultuous relationship with actor Max Ehrich, with whom she spent spring 2020 on home lockdown before getting engaged on July 22, 2020.

However, almost as soon as their relationship started to grow, it ended in heartbreak, with the couple breaking up in less than six weeks, which Demi admitted on camera with tears in her eyes.

On the night when Demi called off her engagment with Max she recorded herself makeup free and broke down in front of the camera sobbing. “The video I made earlier wasn’t an accurate representation of what I’m going through,” she said. “So I thought that this whole time I didn’t mess up. I just missed the person I started quarantining with. And I don’t know how to give my heart to someone after this.”

Demi later blamed the breakup on the fact that she and Max were unable to date as they would have otherwise due to quarantine. During the lockdown, Demi said she didn’t even have her best friends to hang out with. As a result, she never had the opportunity to get to know Max. She recalled,  “The hardest part of the breakup was mourning the person that I thought he was.”

Demi then cryptically revealed, “I was just as shocked as the rest of the world about some of the things that were said and done,”  which included some slightly odd online videos and tweets by Max, without getting into depth about what happened with Max after the breakup.
