Deepika Padukone is all set to share the silver screen with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in Shakun Batra’s untitled venture. The project has been hogging the limelight since the announcement for the same was done.
Deepika Padukone had previously revealed about what one can expect from the film, the actress has now finally spilled the beans on why she agreed to do the film.
Recently Deepika had said this isn’t exactly a light movie, she now says there’s so much to do with every character in the movie. Opening up on what makes her connect with Shakun Batra as a filmmaker and their next venture together, Deepika said that she loves the kind of movies that Batra is influenced by on personal front.
Speaking about the film, the Chhapaak actress said, “I love the kind of film he (Shakun) enjoys watching as a person and as a director, films that he is influenced by and they are totally the kind of films I have always enjoyed watching as an audience and as an actor, the kind of films that I love being a part of which is just people and relationships. The idea is simple but it’s really about moments and things like that. Which is why I am looking forward to this film because it’s exactly that. I mean yes of-course there is a story and a narrative but every scene is delicious and there is so much for us to do in it.”
Deepika’s fans are waiting for this film and surely one is looking forward to seeing Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone.
The yet-untitled film is slated to release on 12th February 2021 but delay can be expected due to the halt in the shooting due to the nationwide lockdown.
