Deepika Padukone Cancels Paris Trip Due To Coronavirus?

Deepika Padukone canceled her trip to Paris after a growing number of coronavirus cases.

Actress Deepika Padukone has canceled her trip to Paris due to the global coronavirus outbreak. She was invited by luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton to attend their show at the Paris Fashion Week. But Deepika had to cancel it due to the growing cases of Coronavirus around the world. 

An official spokesperson of the actress told a leading daily, “Deepika Padukone was scheduled to travel to France to attend Louis Vuitton’s FW2020 show at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week but had to cancel her trip with news coming in that the coronavirus epidemic has now entered a new stage in France.”

The deadly virus has claimed over 3,000 lives worldwide and more than 80,000 people have been affected by it. 

On the work front, Deepika will be next seen in film 83, based on India’s victory in Cricket World Cup 1983. Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Kapil Dev and she will play his wife Romi Dev. 

She will also be seen in the official Hindi remake of the Rober De Niro-Anne Hathaway starrer Hollywood comedy hit, The Intern. It also stars Rishi Kapoor, and is slated to release in 2021.

Deepika’s latest release was Chhapaak inspired by the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film gained positive reviews from the critics but failed at the box office.
