Chrissy Teigen has promised $200,000 to bail out “rioters and criminals” involved in protests that sprung up after George Floyd‘s death.

“In celebration of whatever the f—k maga night is, I am committed to donating $100,000 to the bailouts of protestors across the country,” this was the first tweet of Teigen on Saturday.

Chrissy then raised the bar when a follower tried correcting her tweet, that called the protesters “rioters and criminals.”

“Ooo they might need more money then. Make it $200,000,” Teigen replied.

Teigen’s pledge earned fans’ support, including journalist Yashar Ali, who tweeted, “I’m so proud of you, baby.”

Teigen’s initial tweet was also a response to President Donald Trump — who had commented earlier that day about hosting a MAGA night at the White House.

“The professionally managed so-called ‘protesters’ at the White House had little to do with the memory of George Floyd. They were just there to cause trouble. The @SecretService handled them easily. Tonight, I understand, is MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE???”  President’s tweet read.

Teigen’s tweets received more than 15,000 retweets and 112,000 likes in just an hour. Teigen sent a final message of solidarity to the protestors after smacking down some of her louder MAGA-aligned supporters, some of whom Teigen claimed were bots.

Over the weekend, angry Americans protested after Floyd’s footage surfaced online to oppose racial injustice and police brutality. Within the video, the Minneapolis police officer naming Derek Chauvin — was fired and charged on Friday with murder and third-degree manslaughter.
