Chris Hemsworth Reacts To Extraction Being Netflix’s Top Film Ever Beating The Record Of The Irishman and Bird Box

A long-term Netflix top movie list confirmed Chris Hemsworth's Extraction is the #1 all-time Netflix movie. Well, the actor thanked the 'continued support' of his fan for getting Extraction 99 million views in their first four weeks.

Chris Hemsworth has thanked his fans for their “continued support” after Netflix announced that Extraction is the most profitable original film ever made by the online streaming platform.

Earlier this week, the site published the Top 10 chart, which included Murder Mystery’s best-loved film, featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, as well as three-hour The Irishman awards from Martin Scorsese.

Other titles that made the cut but failed to beat the action thriller include the number two Bird Box and the Confidential Spenser, The Platform, and 6 Underground.

Responding to the update, Hemsworth took to Instagram to post a screenshot of Deadline’s initial story adding the caption, “Can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support of Extraction! Still going strong and sitting at number 1 biggest film ever for Netflix. You guys are the greatest.”

Screenwriter Joe Russo recently revealed that the prequel-sequel to the film is going to “up the scale” in every way possible.

“I started writing three weeks ago,” he told in an interview with ET Online. “It’s a great character to write for, with a fantastic performance from Hemsworth. So it makes my job easier. I think the mission is to up the scale on this one, both emotionally and physically.”
