The 36-year old actress shared the wonderful news on Instagram and her fans showered the mom and the baby with good wishes.

Camilla took to her Instagram to share an adorable picture of herself cradling the newborn in her arms. She captioned the mushy picture, “After what felt like a year-long third trimester … it finally happened!! Matt and I are SOOO happy to announce the birth of our sweet baby BOY, Lucas, otherwise known as my little lion (shoutout to Leo’s!).”

Later a representative revealed that Camilla and Matthew have named their little one Lucas Matthew Alan.

Camila and Matthew’s newborn son has an elder sister named Hayden. She is 3 years old.

In her recent interaction with People Magazine, the new mom said, “It feels amazing to welcome a second child.”

Camilla also spoke about the challenges they faced amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Later Luddington asserted that the upside to it is that it gave them a lot of time to prepare. Elated Camilla then said, “Once I hit 37 weeks, I was willing him to come. Our bubble feels complete now that he’s here.”

Spilling the beans on how she and Matthew came up with the name of their newborn, Camilla Luddington said the name Lucas topped the name list, so they decided to go by it.

The actress was convinced it will be a girl because of the morning sickness she experienced during the pregnancy.

Although the actress has been pregnant before, this time it was much more stressful considering the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luddington feared contracting the coronavirus infection and how it would affect her pregnancy. She also was anxious about whether her husband, Matthew will be by her side while she gives birth.

However, now that the baby has finally arrived, the couple is smitten by its innocence and is embracing parenthood.
