“I found out in my own way. And that’s as much detail as I’ll give you on that one. I didn’t read about it or anything like that,” said the 47-year-old actor while speaking with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on the podcast” Hollywood Raw.
The star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” said he and the actress of “Transformers,” who had been married for a decade, dealt with their split in a friendly manner.
“I think it’s going as well as it can,” he said. “There’s no rule book to it. There’s no way of doing it right or doing it wrong. We are learning as we go. The important thing for us is just communicating as much as we can.”
Green also accepted the impact of divorce on their three sons: Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3.
“I think it’s up to us, and parents in general, how it affects your kids. Whether it’s a really negative experience or it’s OK and they feel safe in it and feel loved. Everyone still loves and respects everyone, things are just different. It’s not bad different, it’s just different,’ he clarified.
“I wish Megan the absolute best in everything. I want her to be completely happy, for her, for the kids. That’s super important.
“No one wants to be around somebody that’s unhappy, nothing good comes out of that,” he continued. “That’s a terrible situation. We are taking it day by day. This is insane, this happened at an unfortunate time that nobody could have predicted with quarantine and the virus and all of that. The news cycle is a bit bigger than we were prepared for. It is what it is.”
In 2004 Green and Fox began dating. Through the years, they’ve had a tumultuous connection of breakups and reconciliations.
Their separation news was confirmed in the month of May.
Green’s remarks come after Fox, 34, and Kelly, 30, made their relationship Instagram-official last week . The rapper shared a black and white photo of himself with the caption, and his new squeeze: ‘waited for an eternity to find you again.’
The couple met earlier this year on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” but they came in the spotlight when Kelly dropped his “Bloody Valentine” music video late May, in which Fox plays a dominatrix which led people to believe that they were an item now.
Meanwhile, Post parting the ways Brian was allegedly dating Australian model, Tina Louise. However, according to the latest reports, Brian has apparently called it quits with Tina.
