Sudhanshu Dharia directorial ‘Ulajh’, a political thriller drama, continues to receive a pathetic response from the viewers even on the DAY 2. The first day performed extensively bad gaining a total of Rs. 1.15 crores net collection.
Indusry tracker Sacnilk reports that after Friday, the second day too did not prove happening for Ulajh makers. Ulajh gained 1.75 crores net India collection overall.

With this, Janhvi Kapoor – Gulshan Devaiah starrer Ulajh’s collection now stands at Rs. 2.85 crore. The film did not perform as per the expectations and the slow start clearly points out towards poor strategizing of the storyline. Ulajh received even poor ratings from the movie goers.
The film clashed with Ajay Devgn’s Auron Mei kahan tha dum, which also couldn’t make a good space in the theatres.However, the overall earning of the box office collection reached higher than what Ulajh saw.
Talking about the overall screening, the unbearable performance on the theatres, only 750 theatres ran Ulajh while Auron Mei Kahan Tha Dum managed to run on atleast a 1000+ screens in the country. Apart from starring Janhvi Kapoor in the mail lead, Ulajh also stars Sachin Khedekar, Adil Hussain and Roshan Matthew in pivotal roles.
