Yuvraj Singh Wants THIS Bollywood Actor To Play His Role If A Biopic Is Made On His Life

Over the years Bollywood has seen a surge in making biopics. We’ve seen many biopics in the industry from sportspersons, politicians, actors and even national heroes. And while the phenomenon continues to dominate the Indian cinema, another renowned personality is expected to enter the biopics league. We are talking about Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian cricketer.

According to the reports, a biopic on this Cricket World Cup hero and a cancer survivor is in the queue and the fans are very excited about the same.

Interestingly, the producers are yet to make an official announcement about the same thing and along with the movie’s lead cast. However, Yuvraj was questioned recently, about the Bollywood actor who he would like to essay his role on the silver screen.

To this, the former iconic cricketer chuckled and said, “Probably, I’d play myself — that would be a bit desperate…. hai na?” However, he soon made his choice and choose Gen Y star Siddhant Chaturvedi to play the role.

Yuvraj added, “See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film.”

Talking of Siddhant Chaturvedi, the promising actor made his debut with Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy and went on to win millions of hearts by essaying the role of MC Sher. As of now, on the work front, Siddhant is working on YRF’s much-awaited film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.

‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ will also feature newcomer Sharvari and Bollywood’s most-adorable on-screen jodi of Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan.

Apart from ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Siddhant is also working on Shakun Batra’s untitled venture alongside Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday.
