Lost Trailer Out: Yami Gautam Is In Pursuit Of Truth

Lost Trailer Out: A crime reporter, sudden disappearance of youth, brewing politics and some hidden secrets- a perfect recipe for crime thriller movie. And this is exactly what we get to see in the trailer of Yami Gautam’s upcoming investigative thriller Lost.

The 2 minutes 20 seconds trailer opens with the missing case of a young college student Ishan Bharati (Tushar Pandey) in Kolkata. He has been missing for over two weeks. A crime reporter Vidhi Sahani (Yami Gautam), decides to go to the bottom of this case of missing young man, and during her investigation she unearths many dark secrets about Ishan’s past such as his connection extremist group. He also had a girlfriend Ankita (Pia Bajpiee) and she also seems to be hiding some secrets.

While society is busy associating different theories for his disappearance, she unravels more secrets with her investigation. And soon she realizes that there might be some political connection to this missing case.

Smartly edited trailer manages to build up a thrill and suspense without revealing any important details about the film’s plot. The trailer also reminds you of Vidya Balan’s Kahaani (2012).

Lost is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury who has helmed a critically acclaimed Pink (2016). Produced by Zee Studios, Namah Pictures, Sam Fernandes and Indrani Mukherjee, Lost will have direct OTT premiere on February 16, on ZEE5. The film has been screened at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2022, Atlanta Indian Film Festival 2022 and 53rd International Film Festival of India.
