Vijayta Pandit, wife of the late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, has faced numerous challenges since losing her husband to cancer in 2015. Vijayta And Kumar Gaurav’s Relationship
Before marrying Aadesh, Vijayta’s life had seen several twists and turns. She was initially in a deep relationship with actor Kumar Gaurav, with whom she starred in the 1981 hit film Love Story. Their romance blossomed on set but was short-lived, ending bitterly due to opposition from Kumar Gaurav’s father, the legendary Rajendra Kumar. Vijayta fondly recalled how they were deeply in love and even shared how Kumar Gaurav continued to visit her despite being engaged to Reema Kapoor. She attended his engagement, choosing to step aside when tensions arose.
Vijayta Found Love With Aadesh Shrivastava
It wasn’t until she met Aadesh Shrivastava in America that Vijayta found love again. Aadesh, a friend of her brothers, Jatin and Lalit, helped heal her wounds, and soon after, he proposed to her. Encouraged by her mother, Vijayta married Aadesh in 1991, and the couple welcomed two sons.
Vijayta’s Struggle Coping With Aadesh Shrivastava’s Death
Tragedy struck in 2010 when Aadesh was diagnosed with blood cancer. Despite traveling far and wide for treatments, his condition worsened. Vijayta remained steadfast, supporting her husband and their children through the difficult times. After Aadesh’s passing, she focused on raising her boys alone. Vijayta proudly shared that one of her sons is on the path to becoming a psychiatrist, fulfilling his father’s wish for their education. Through all her ups and downs, Vijayta Pandit has proven to be a resilient woman, standing strong for her family and carrying on Aadesh’s legacy with grace.
