Actor Rhea Chakraborty’s life has turned upside down after the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput. She is the prime accused in the case and has been interrogated by Mumbai Police, ED and CBI multiple times.
Rhea started her Bollywood career in 2013 with film ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’. She was last seen in film ‘Jalebi’ produced by Mahesh Bhatt.
Rhea and Mahesh share a close bond. In several interviews, Rhea has revealed that Mahesh Bhatt is a father figure for her. During the promotions of ‘Jalebi’, Rhea had expressed her gratitude towards him for giving her the opportunity. She then also talked about the filmmaker’s much-anticipated project ‘Sadak 2’. Rhea had said, “I am very excited about Sadak 2.”
The shooting of Sadak 2 began in May 2019 and has now been released on an OTT platform. It premiered on Disney+Hotstar on 28 August and has received horrible reviews from critics and audiences.

The film stars Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. It is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. This film marked the comeback of Mahesh Bhatt as a director after 20 years.
Talking about Rhea Chakraborty, she is currently being interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Two drug suppliers have also been detained in the case.
