Rati & Padmini asked some thrilling & exciting questions to each other in turn making it a mind-boggling chat session exclusively for Lehren viewers.

Rati Agnihotri & Padmini Kolhapure are amongst the top leading ladies of the film industry from the 80’s era. Embracing a warm rapport with each other, both the actresses have also shared screen space in movies like Star, Swami Dada & Mazdoor. In an exclusive throwback interview with Lehren, Rati & Padmini asked some thrilling & exciting questions to each other in turn making it a mind-boggling chat session which the viewers had never ever witnessed before in their lifetime.

During the candid conversation, Padmini enquired Rati about her comeback in Bollywood with the film Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi; that too after a huge time span of 15 years, to which Agnihotri replied that she immediately gave a nod to her director Rahul Ravail after the narration of the movie plot which was inspired by an American film, The Parent Trap. The family drama genre venture starred Kajol (in a double role), Suniel Shetty, Rishi Kapoor & Pooja Batra in significant roles. Rati also highlighted a hilarious fact that her last film in the industry, Tawaif, also starred Rishi Kapoor and coincidentally she again collaborates with Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) in her very first film after her 15 years long break.

On being asked by Kolhapure about the idea of taking a break from films post marriage and then returning back to the celluloid after a huge gap, Rati expressed that the cinematic trends and audiences’ notion to see the actresses at the celluloid changes after a period of time. Additionally, they won’t be much comfortable romancing on screens like before to which Padmini also agreed in reference to her romantic hit, Prem Rog. Agnihotri also revealed that her husband, Anil, always held an impression that Padmini Kolhapure should never quit films as she’s a portrait of ”talent in abundance.”

Twisting the tables sarcastically, Rati asked Padmini on her exit from acting & Bollywood to which the Swarag Se Sundar actress replied that she had already made up her mind for the same, as she wanted to focus on her family post her marriage and didn’t want to take the workload. However, she was committed to movies for around 2.5 years after getting married to wrap up her ongoing movie projects.
