On the Ajnabee sets in the 2000s, Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu experienced a severe rift. The two argued about fashion designer Vikram Phadnis. According to online rumours, Vikram, who was at the time designing Kareena Kapoor, chose to aid Bipasha without getting Kareena’s approval, which caused Bebo to lash out, hit her on the sets, and even refer to Bipasha as “Kaali Billi.”
Later in 2001, Bipasha came forward and discussed the incident in detail. I believe that you’re making a mountain out of a molehill, she remarked. She further stated, “With me, there have never been any issues. She ran into a few issues with the designer. I have no idea why I got drawn in. It was very juvenile. She continued by vowing never to collaborate with Kareena again.
Kareena, on the other hand, offered her perspective on the incident in 2002 and stated, “She just doesn’t seem to have any confidence in her own skills. She said, “Why don’t you discuss your work? Her only claim to fame, in my opinion, is the argument we had about Vikram Phadnis during Ajnabee. She has received claims that I called her derogatory names. That’s just something she made up.
Well, later in 2018, Kareena Kapoor made an effort to keep things amicable between the two by inviting Bipasha to Saif Ali Khan’s celebration.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Lal Singh Chaddha along with Aamir Khan. She is currently working on Hansal Mehta’s The Crew.
On the other hand, Bipasha Basu has taken a break for a while now and is enjoying her motherhood momentum.
