Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan is full of surprises. Proving this, the filmmaker recently revealed her secret from her past, saying she had a crush on actor Chunky Panday and that she befriended Chunky’s wife Bhavana Panday, just to work with him.
Recently, during an episode of ‘The Khatra Khatra Show’, filmmaker Farah Khan admitted that she had a crush on Chunky Panday during the 90s and also revealed that she befriended Chunky’s wife Bhavana Panday, just to work with her husband and then-boyfriend Chunky Panday, in the film ‘Housefull’. However, Farah in the end wittily said, ‘After working with him, I am glad that nothing happened between us. I also thanked Bhavana for getting married to him!’ The choreographer has worked with actor Chunky Panday during the songs for Housefull 2 and Housefull 4 films that featured Chunky in the role of Aakhri Pasta.
Earlier, filmmaker Farah Khan shared a series of videos in which Ananya Panday was also seen cracking jokes. The highlight of the video was when Farah comically imitates Chunky Panday’s character as she says, “I’m joking”. Soon after actor Chunky Panday reacted to the video calling out the filmmaker for her overacting. Later Farah replied to him, “Apni beti ko sambhal pehle.” The comments went like fire over the internet and netizens started posting their response in the comments. One of the users wrote, “Put some ice on that burn.” Another wrote, “Peak honesty looks like this! Both of them are right tbh!” While someone even said “It would have been fun banter if she had said ‘Apne khud ke film dekh pehle”.
On the work front, Farah Khan is currently working on Karan Johar’s forthcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars two of the most popular actors in the business, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The combo was last seen in the critically acclaimed film Gully Boy. The cast for Rocky and Rani ki Prem Kahani also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
