Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau on Oct 3 in a drug-related case. On Oct 2, the investigating agency had raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast, which was on its way to Goa.
According to NCB officials, 13g of cocaine, 5g of MD, 21g of charas and 22 pills of MDMA and Rs. 1.33 lakh in cash was recovered. Aryan Khan, his close friend Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra were summoned for questioning on Sunday morning. Hours later, Aryan Khan and three others were arrested and presented before the court.
While Aryan is in police custody, #WeStandWithSRK is trending on Twitter. Shahrukh Khan’s fans have stood in his support during these tough times.
Even Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk. Not that you need it. But I do. This too, shall pass.”
