Suriya Reacts To R.Madhavan’s Look In Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

Tamil industry actor Suriya apparently has a cameo in the Tamil version of R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Recently, R. Madhavan took to Instagram and shared a BTS video from the set. The clip features the Tamil actor Suriya as he arrives on the sets of the film to shoot his part as he’s left awestruck after seeing Madhavan’s look in the film, while the highlight remains Suriya watching Madhavan as he stands beside the original Nambi Narayanan. Sharing the clip, Madhavan wrote: “Only my bro @actorsuriya can make me feel so good and react like this. Nambi sir is a huge fan of my bro and his father. Sharing reactions over the clip a fan wrote, “Priceless Reaction from Suriya na”, “His reaction thou”, “Full video pls maddy. Hardwork never fails. You such a dedicated actor man. Proud to be your fan. Love you Maddy”, another user wrote, “take a bow in front of the legends !!”.

Apart from Suriya, Shah Rukh Khan will also be making his cameo in the Hindi version of the film. Sharing an incident, R. Madhavan said in an interview, “When I told Suriya that Shah Rukh ji is doing a small role in the Hindi version and that I wanted him to play the same role for the Tamil version, he immediately said he’d do it. When it came to shooting, Suriya flew down to Mumbai’s Mehboob studio with his staff and shot for the scene. He booked his own flight tickets and didn’t even charge a penny for his work.”

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on the life of a former rocket scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ‘Nambi Narayanan’ who was falsely charged with espionage and was arrested in 1994. It is a pan-India film to be released in multiple languages including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. 

The directorial debut of actor Maddy has been shot in India, France, Canada, Georgia, and Serbia. The movie is slated to release on 1st July 2022. The biographical drama will star R Madhavan, Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, Ron Donaiche, Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, Karthik Kumar, and Dinesh Prabhakar.
