The Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 were recently held in full strength. The votings that took place on the 20th November, brought results out in the favor of Mahayuti government on November 23rd. The TMC party leader told Lehren Retro, that a lot of investigation still needs to be performed as voices of EVM rigging is far heard across ears. Addressing himself as “Begaani shaadi mein Abdullah diwana”, Shatrughan Sinha initially mentions that being a member of All India Trinamool Congress Party, he does not fit right to give opinions on the victory of BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, but he is all-ears to the swirling speculations against the Election Commision and EVM rigging. Sinha pointed out as, “Humne bohot sari baaton ko dekha hai aur samjha bhi hai, and things have definitely been unfair.”
Shatrughan Sinha even said that he is not giving any major opinions because he knows how opposing parties will mock him later on saying that the feedback comes out upon losing. Sinha also said, “I have a lot of good connections with leaders in Mahayuti. Mai unka maza aisi baatein kar ke kirkira nahi karna chahta”. Amid this ongoing EVM scam, Sinha highlighted that alliances like these and their victories can never affect the impact Mamata Bannerjee holds on West Bengal.
