Bollywood veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has turned 49 today. Within 26 years in the industry, Aishwarya has delivered more than 49 films. Despite being a mother and a wife the actress has managed to deliver hits like Jazbaa, Sarbjit, and others while the latest blockbuster hit remains her periodical drama film Ponniyin Selvan.
Apart from her professional life, the actress has often remained in the news for her personal life as well. The actress has often grabbed enough attention for her alleged relationships be it with Vivek Oberoi or Salman Khan. During her initial days in the industry, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan used to model for renowned designers and for different products and companies. And during her days as a rookie, the actress got acquainted with model Rajeev Mulchandani. However, in 1994 it was rumored that Rajeev dumped Aishwarya for actress Manisha Koirala. It is also reported that Manisha and Aishwarya had an ugly fight because of the same. However, during one of her interviews, Aishwarya denied all the rumors of having been in a love relationship with Rajeev after he started dating Manisha.
2. Aishwarya Rai And Salman Khan
One of the most controversial relationships that remained in history is Aish and Salman’s relationship. The two grabbed a lot of attention for their alleged romance and of course their “breakup”. Aishwarya started dating Salman during the shoot of their film Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
However, their romance was short-lived, as soon after their linkup the two were rumored to have broken up due to Salman’s short-tempered behavior. Apart from Salman, Aishwarya also grabbed the headlines for her alleged love affair with actor Vivek Oberoi. It was believed that Vivek once hosted a press conference after he received threats from Salman Khan for dating Aishwarya Rai. The press conference resulted in a big mistake for Vivek as soon after the same Vivek was dropped from multiple projects. Months into their relationship Aishwarya broke up with Vivek. During a conversation with Farah Khan, Vivek revealed that he regrets hosting the press conference. He further stated that he did all this for someone (Aishwarya) who never appreciated him.
4. Aishwarya And Abhishek
In 2005 Aishwarya’s love story began with her now-husband Abhishek Bachchan. The two met each other for the first time in 1997 on the sets of Bobby Deol’s film ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’. Abhishek proposed Aish in 2007 during a promotional trip in New York. And finally, on April 20, 2007, the couple tied the knot. The couple completed 15 years of their marriage this year in April.
