Vivek Agnihotri Comes In Support Of Kangana Ranaut, Slams Those Mocking Her In Slap Incident

The recent event at the Chandigarh airport involving actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has stirred diverse reactions. The Bollywood filmmaker recently came out in support of Kangana Ranaut addressing the “slap incident”. He also slammed the netizens who tried mocking the actress. On Friday, Vivek took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) and shared a note defending Kangana Ranaut.

He wrote, “This incident with @KanganaTeam must be condemned by every sane person. Why do I say ‘sane’? Because only sane people understand how dangerous it is for a democracy. Those who are laughing at Kangana must know that many people don’t like your tweets either. And you fly too.”

Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet comes after singer Vishal Dadlani’s comment on Instagram, in which the singer offered a job to the CISF officer who slapped Kangana.

The CISF constable involved in the incident was identified as Kulwinder Kaur. As reported by Hindustan Times, she was detained following the event and later suspended. This action came after Kangana Ranaut lodged a complaint with CISF officials upon her arrival at Indira Gandhi airport.
