Bollywood star Vikrant Massey, who became a blooming star in the industry in just no time has left his fans in a state of shock. The 37 year old actor announced his retirement from acting career, choosing to live his life ahead like a father, son and a husband. The Sabarmati Report actor has not mentioned any particular reason to make this decision.

Vikrant Massey Announces Retirement
On December 2nd, 2024, Vikrant Massey took to his instagram at midnight to pen down the news of his announcement. He wrote, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it is time to recalibrate and go back home. As a husband, father, and son. And also as an actor.” Stating further the 12th fail star said that the year 2025 will be his last performance in films, and in his acting career as a whole. He concluded his post thanking his fans as he writes, “Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted” While fans continue to sit in bafflement, many other sent him good wishes with a small request to #restart whenever he wishes to.
Massey has gained immense popularity in the acting career with his diversifed roles across the television industry. Some of his best films include Dil Dhadakne Do, Chhapaak, Sector 36, Haseen Dilruba, and 12th Fail. After doing 12th Fail, the actor was recognised as a powerful star by both audiences as well as filmmakers. Recently his film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ released on November 15th, circling the whereabout during the Godhra train accident. Despite having a wonderful storyline, the film could not perform well in the audience’s eyes and had a slow pace of earnings at the box office.
