Tamil remake Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan was released in the theatres on 30th September alongside Mani Ratnam’s film Ponniyin Selvan. While Ponniyin Selvan opened up to record-shattering earnings and the box office, Vikram Vedha on the other hand has been struggling to earn decent figures at the box office since day 1.
Despite good reviews, the film failed to earn impressive figures on its opening day. The Pushkar Gayathri directorial earned Rs 10-11 crore on its opening day. However, with the help of international earnings, the film has now somehow managed to enter the 100 cr club. After almost 9 days the film has now grossed a total of approx 103.82 crores which includes both international and domestic earnings of the film at the box office.
On Saturday, Reliance Entertainment shared the official box office figures of the film on Twitter, sharing the overseas collections, it tweeted, “#VikramVedha Celebrates 100 Crores at the Box Office! About Vikram Vedha
It is a remake of a 2017 Tamil film that features R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. The Hindi remake of the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. It was released in theatres on 30th September.
