Vikram, Major & Samrat Prithviraj Compete At Box Office, See Who Won In Advance Booking

Kamal Haasan's Vikram tops the charts on Box office advance bookings, leaving behind Akshay's Prithviraj and Adivi Sesh's Major.

Today the box office temperature is going to be hotter than the scorching afternoon of June. From the beginning of the year, South films did not allow Hindi films to stay at the ticket window and today this fight is not going to be double but triple. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’, and Adivi Shesh’s ‘Major’ are going to be seen face to face in the field. Interestingly, all these three films are being released on an all-India level in addition to their native languages ​​in other Indian languages.

While now, all the eyes of the whole country are fixed on this film of Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Akshay Kumar’s emperor Prithviraj. The film is released on a total of 4950 screens. This has been released on 3550 screens in Hindi in domestic cinemas and 200 screens for Tamil and Telugu. Akshay Kumar’s last two films ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Bell Bottom’ were in the same category as the flop, so Khiladi Kumar left no stone unturned before its release and is promoting the film fiercely. Advance booking of the film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was not as expected as it has earned only about 3.43 crores from advance booking. Out of which 3.40 crores was earned in Hindi and only 3 lakhs in the South.

At the same time, Tamil cinema veteran Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Vikram’ with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil managed to create a lot of buzzes even before its release. The effect of which was also seen on its advance booking. The film surprised everyone with the advance booking of 10.70 crores in Tamil only. Its Hindi version has earned 25 lakhs and the Telugu version has earned 60 lakhs. The opening bumper of ‘Vikram’ is expected to be on the first day. The total advance booking of the film has so far been 11.55 crores.

Along with ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ and ‘Vikram’, actor Adivi Shesh’s film ‘Major’ was also released today. This film has the lowest advance booking among the three films releasing on Friday. This film is also being released in Malayalam but advance booking was negligible. According to the report till Thursday evening, the Telugu version earned 2.40 crores, the Hindi version earned only some 2.90 crores with advance booking of 50 lakhs.

While Akshay Kumar has been trending over social media for his film ‘Prithviraj’. Now it is to be seen who will win the war on the big screen.
