Vijay Deverakonda is one of the most popular actors down South and this hunk debonair tollywood superstar is creating a huge buzz because of his upcoming film, Liger. And now he has honoured his promise by roping in Sony TV’s popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12 finalist Shanmukhapriya to sing a song for Liger.
Vijay Deverakonda had specially sent in a really heartwarming and sweet video message for Shanmukhapriya during the Indian Idol 12 finale and promised to get her to sing in one of his movies. And now he kept his promise wherein even Shanmukhapriya’s dream has now come true. For people who are unaware, Shanmukhapriya is a huge fan of the star.
In that video message, Vijay had said, “Today is the finale. Forget winning, forget losing, and forget everything, just have a blast. Give it your all. Own that stage and completely enjoy the show. I send all my wishes to contestants and judges. Shanmukha Priya, you are coming back to Hyderabad and meeting me. You are singing for me in my film. It’s a deal. Good luck”.
On Tuesday, taking to his official social media account on instagram, Vijay dropped an IGTV video post on his account wherein he warmly welcomed the singer Shanmukhapriya onboard for Liger. The video also showed how Shanmukhapriya visited Vijay at his home in Hyderabad.
Whilst Vijay was in a candid conversation with Shanmukhapriya within the video, he spoke about how he, Charmee Kaur and Puri had all actually sat down and watched all her videos after Indian Idol and finally then took decision wherein they all zeroed down on the right song which is suitable for her voice.
