When Sara Ali Khan appeared on the popular chat show Koffee With Karan with her father Saif Ali Khan in 2018, she said that she wants to date Kartik Aaryan. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor was flattered and reports of their affair soon made a buzz. However, it came to an end after they allegedly broke up after some time. And now, in Koffee With Karan season 7, Sara Ali Khan has again appeared and this time, with BFF Janhvi Kapoor.
This time too, host Karan Johar asked Sara Ali Khan the same question. As Karan asked her to name one person she would like to date, Sara confessed she’d be open to dating Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda.
As Karan Johar dropped the trailer of the upcoming episode, Vijay reacted to it. Taking to his Instagram story, he shared the trailer featuring Sara and Janhvi and wrote, “I love how you say ‘Deverakonda’. Cutest. Sending big hugs and my affection. (heart emoji).”
In the upcoming episode, Karan will also be seen asking Sara about her ex-boyfriend. Without mentioning any name, Karan questioned, “Why your ex is your ex?”
Sara replied, “Because he is everyone’s ex.”
Hearing this, Janhvi Kapoor burst into laughter.
Koffee With Karan Season 7 premieres on Disney+Hotstar. The first episode featured Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
Talking about Vijay Deverakonda, the megastar is awaiting the release of his sports drama film ‘Liger’. It is helmed by Puri Jagannadh and jointly produced by Karan Johar. Ananya Panday features opposite Vijay in the upcoming film. It will hit the theatres on 25 August 2022.
