Now, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up to undergo intense physical workout for his upcoming venture.
According to the reports, Vicky Kaushal has to undergo intense physical workout for four months before the makers start rolling the film. The title of the film is The Immortal Ashwatthama and it is under the Yash Raj Film’s (YRF) banner.
Apart from intense physical workout, Vicky Kaushal also has to learn archery, sword fighting, and spear fighting. The director of the film, Aditya Dhar is eternally grateful that the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t impact his schedule for the movie.
Speaking of Vicky Kaushal’s role in the movie, he plays a mythological character from the Mahabharata in the movie. His character has the boon for immortality.
For the unknown, Ashwatthama is the son of the great teacher Dronacharya. Thus to star in the movie, Vicky Kaushal has to take training in horse-riding and various martial art forms. A few of these martial art forms include Krav jujutsu.
Apart from all this, Vicky Kaushal also has to gain 100 kgs for his character in the movie. According to the director of the film, they will start rolling the film in April 2021. The shooting schedule will primarily begin in the UK and then they will head to Iceland.
The filmmaker added that the final schedule of the film will be shot in Mumbai. He also hinted the possibility of change in countries depending on the COVID-19 crisis.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will also star in Takht. It is a multi starrer film directed by Karan Johar.
