Dharma Productions has just made a new movie announcement. The new film brings together a stellar cast, under Anand Tiwari’s direction. Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri have been signed as the lead actors of the yet untitled film.
While the makers have not yet disclosed the film’s title, they have revealed the release date well in advance. Vicky Kaushal starrer will release on 25 August 2023. However, the makers have decided to go the OTT route. The film will be directed released on Amazon Prime Video, thus skipping the theatres.
The film was announced was Dharma Productions on social media. The caption reads, “Bringing together the three powerhouses of talent – Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri led by the deft vision of director Anand Tiwari. Look out for the blast coming your way as this film makes its way to the theatres this August 25!”
Previously, Vicky Kaushal had signed Dharma Productions’ film Takht which has been put on hold. The film was announced in 2019 and Karan Johar has still not started working on this period drama film.
Vicky Kaushal was last seen in comedy thriller film Govinda Naam Mera, which also had an OTT release. He featured alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in this film.
