Vicky Kaushal is soon to be seen essaying the iconic role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the highly anticipated historical biopic titled Sardar Udham, and in a recent interview with a leading digital entertainment portal, Vicky says I got 13 stitches on my cheek before Sardar Udham shoot.
Directed by the noted and award winning film maker Shoojit Sircar, Sardar Udham had gone on floors for filming and production in last year 2020 and now finally the makers have officially dropped the trailer for the Vicky Kaushal starrer biopic. In a latest candid conversation with a leading digital entertainment portal, Vicky says I got 13 stitches on my cheek before Sardar Udham shoot.
Definitely in this film trailer for the first time ever, the netizens, viewers, audiences and fans have seen Vicky Kaushal in a never seen before avatar and the plot of the film is strong which mainly revolves around his unstoppable and undeterred mission of avenging and taking revenge for his ruthlessly murdered brothers who had been brutally killed in the gory Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919 and talking about his character and more, in this new interview, Vicky says I got 13 stitches on my cheek before Sardar Udham shoot.

Opening up on how he had suffered injuries and also had 13 facial stitches on his cheek before embarking the shooting for Sardar Udham as he had been injured whilst shooting for another film 4 days before starting filming for Sardar Udham, Vicky Kaushal said, “I got 13 stitches on my cheek. I clicked a photo with my stitches and the first person I sent the photo to was Shoojit Da (Sircar) because in four days he was starting Sardar Udham. Sir said, Koi Baat Nahi stitches leke aajao. ( It’s okay, you may come for the shoot)”.
He also opened up on how the scar on the face of Sardar Udham is actually the scar from one of his previous film shoots and also menrtioned about how he had to don several different looks for the film which is soon going to be unveiled and known in detail.
In last year 2020 itself, the makers of Vicky Kaushal starrer much awaited biopic Sardar Udham had dropped the first look of Vicky Kaushal who beared a striking and uncanny resemblance to Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw which actually left all fans and even us stunned and surprised.
The makers of the biopic, on the occasion of the death anniversary of the legend, revealed another look of the Uri (2019) actor who is all set to play Sam Manekshaw on screen as they pay their tribute.
