The actor has finally given his honest reaction on a tweet by a social media user that said that originally Varun Dhawan was the first choice to play the role of Harshad Mehta’s role in ace director Hansal Mehta’s critically acclaimed IMDB’s top best Indian webseries of all time “Scam 1992”. The user furthermore also said that how the director Hansal Mehta didn’t wanted Varun and then the coveted role went to newbie debutante actor Pratik Gandhi who is now a well renowned nationally loved digital star after this series.
The user’s tweet read, “Did you know? #VarunDhawan was the first choice to play the iconic role of #HarshadMehta in Scam 1992. Later director Hansal Mehta suggested #PratikGandhi and the rest is history”.
