Varun Dhawan’s fans were eager to witness their favorite star in a new Maharashtrian in Mr. Lele avatar but there’s sad news for them. Reportedly, Shashank Khaitan’s Mr. Lele featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar alongside Varun Dhawan has been put on hold.
The reasons considered to put Mr. Lele on the back burner are that there have issues with the dates and also the script. The sources say that Shashank had begun the production work, but the actors’ dates are not aligning. Owing to all the reasons and difficulties a new plan for Mr. Lele will be worked out at a later stage. The film was scheduled to go on floors this month and the extensive shoot of the film was to happen in Mumbai.
Speaking of the film Mr. Lele, a couple of weeks back Varun shared his looks from the film which had Varun Dhawan go shirtless and pose in just a pair of shorts.
The reports were also stating that earlier Kiara Advani was to paired opposite Varun, but due to the issues with the dates, Kiara walked out and hence later Janhvi Kapoor was roped in for the same.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan is also gearing up for David Dhawan’s Coolie No.1 alongside Sara Ali Khan. The shoot of the film was wrapped a few days ago. Apart from Coolie No.1, the audience will also witness Varun Dhawan in Sriram Raghvan’s war drama.
Coolie No.1 is slated to release on 1st May 2020.
