Varun Dhawan Shuts Down A Troll Who Accused Him Of Faking COVID-19

Varun Dhawan shuts down a troll who accused him of faking the COVID-19 diagnosis. The actor’s sarcastic reply silenced the troll.

A few days back, the news of Varun Dhawan being tested positive for COVID-19 broke out from the sets of Jug Jug Jeeyo. Apart from Varun, his co-star Neetu Kapoor and director Raj Mehta also contracted the coronavirus infection. Following the diagnosis, Varun flew back to Mumbai from Chandigarh for rest and treatment.

Taking to social media handle yesterday, the Badlapur actor shared a picture of himself and confirmed the news of being diagnosed with COVID-19. After he shared the picture, many of his industry colleagues and fans flooded the comment section. Everyone wished him a speedy recovery and asked him to take proper rest.

However, the post also did invite many trolls. One user commented, “Bhai sahi mein hua hai na? Ya phir yahan bhi normal khaasi ki overacting kar raha hai?”

Hitting back at the troll, Varun shut him down by replying, “Wow ur so funny. What an amazing sense of humour you have.”

Furthermore, the actor also added, “I hope you and your family don’t have to suffer through this though they will have to suffer through your sad excuse of humour. Get well soon son.”

Well, seems like Varun has developed a thick skin against all the trolling and has learned how to shut them down.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of Coolie No. 1. In the movie, he will share the screen space with Sara Ali Khan.

Speaking of Coolie No. 1, it will premiere on streaming giant Amazon Prime on December 25.
