Varun Dhawan Pledges To Help Daily Wagers Under FWICE

Post his donations to PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund, actor Varun Dhawan has pledged to help the daily wage earners under FWICE. Read below to know more.

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan who celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday has pledged to provide help to the daily wage earners under the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

Ashoke Pandit who is the president of Indian Film and TV directors Association took to Twitter to thank Varun for his support and contribution. He shared the video and wrote, “@fwice_mum thanks @Varun_dvn for donating towards the daily wage workers of the entertainment industry. Varun Dhawan Pledges To Help Daily Wage Workers Under FWICE Post Donating To PM Cares, CM Relief Funds & Providing Meals To Hospitals. Previously, Varun had made donations to PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund, he donated a whopping Rs. 55 Lakhs to both respectively. Later he also extended his support to provide meals to the healthcare workers, doctors, and medical staff in the hospital.

The Badlapur actor has been quite active on social media as well. He is using the social media platforms to spread awareness about the safety measures one should take amid the coronavirus pandemic. He is also urging people to stay home to combat the spread of the virus.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in David Dhawan directed Coolie No.1 alongside Sara Ali Khan. The film will be the remake of the 1995 film starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The film was a hit in the 90s. The film was slated to release on 1st May 2020 but the release date might get postponed owing to the closed theatres because of the nationwide lockdown.

Post Coolie No.1, Varun will be next seen in Mr. Lele in which he will be playing a Maharashtrian character. The film will also feature Jahnvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar alongside Varun. The Shashank Khaitan directorial is currently put on the backburner because of the date issues with the star cast.
