IIFA Awards 2023 were held in Abu Dhabi on May 27. Many Bollywood celebs flew from Mumbai to be a part of the evening full of dance, fun and awards. Nora Fatehi and Varun Dhawan had a special dance performance together during the award function. It was a fusion dance act, combining the popular Shava Shava song from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and their own dance number Garmi from Street Dancer 3D.
While Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi are known to be fabulous dancers, this particular dance act at IIFA 2023 has disappointed people. Reddit users are criticizing it by calling it “Garbage” and “Cringe”.
As the video was shared by a user of Reddit, the comment section got flooded with negative remarks on Varun and Nora Fatehi’s dance act. A Reddit user wrote, “Both of them are great dancers….and they went with this?” Someone else wrote, “Ew, this is so cringe”.

A comment reads, “Ye kya dekh liya. Eye bleach moment ho gya ye toh. Bhai itna cringe.”
“Thank god we have other modes of entertainment,” reads another comment.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in the fantasy film Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. Though the film didn’t perform well at the box office, it is getting great response on OTT. His next film is Bawaal. He is also shooting for the Indian version of the web series Citadel.
