Varun Dhawan’s upcoming movie “Bhediya” will now make its appearance on the big screen exactly a year from today, the “kalank” actor shared through his Instagram handle. Earlier this year, a short 37-second teaser of the movie was released with ominous background music as Varun Dhawan was seen transitioning into a vicious wolf. In the first look, Varun can be seen in a never-seen-before avatar with a fierce expression and shining wolf eyes in the dark background. Sharing the promotional picture Varun captioned it as “ #BHEDIYA, a piece of me”. Many other b-town stars found the first look extremely impressive and couldn’t help but comment on the post including Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Anil Kapoor among others. While Akshay Kumar was seen uploading an Instagram story of the promotional look, “intense and interesting….happy to see you channelizing your inner animal:) All the best @ varundhvn and @kritisanon”
Kriti Sanon will be seen pairing along with Varun Dhawan in the movie alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Flora Saini reprising their roles from the previous installments Roohi and Stree. The producer of the film, Dinesh Vijan, confirmed that “Bhediya” is part of his horror-comedy universe consisting of films like “Stree”, “Roohi” and “Munjha”. “Munjha” will be the Prequel to the 2018 film “Stree”. He quoted, “issi din agle saal milte hai #bhediya se” captioned “Maddock Films”, the production house of the film that has produced many other successful films such as “Stree”, “Badlapur”, “Hindi Medium”, and “Bala” among others.
If sources are to be believed, in Bhediya, the makers are planning to do something unique, creating a breathtaking world through the magic of VFX. Owing to the intricate process, the release date has further been slated to next year. It is all worthwhile though, as the movie is touted to be one of the biggest breakthroughs of Varun Dhawan’s career.

Furthermore, Varun Dhawan is recently promoting his other upcoming multi-starrer film “Jug jug Jeeyo” starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. All set to be released in June 2022, the Dharma Film is a story that unfolds over one night and unravels dark secrets hidden for over three decades. While Kriti Sanon can be seen all gearing up for Ganapath-Part 1 alongside Tiger Shroff.
