Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt make one of the best Bollywood Jodi. Starting their respective career together with Student of the Year in 2012 being launched by filmmaker Karan Johar. Since their first Bollywood movie, the duo has so far worked on approximately four films. Varia what their fans call them are expected to reunite again for their next film.
Varun and Alia share real-life type chemistry on screen and it is a treat to watch them together in a film. Their fans are eagerly waiting for them to collaborate once again after Kalank, that didn’t perform well. In a recent interview, Varun Dhawan opened up about collaborating and teaming up with his co-star Alia Bhatt for their 5th film together.
Talking about the kind of bond he shares with the Brahmastra actress the actor also said he wishes to work with her soon. VD said, “She is someone who is very close to my heart, and we share incredible chemistry. You can’t just make that today. We are good friends, we care for each other, and respect each other. I actually want to work with Alia again. I think it will happen, maybe sometime in the future. I will play a nanny in that, take the child on the stroller”
The duo has worked together in many films, interestingly Varun and Alia both started their acting career in the same film. The duo made a Bollywood movie debut with Student Of The Year. Since then they appeared together in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Kalank.
In terms of work, after the success of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Varun Dhawan has a good lineup of forthcoming projects. He is filming for horror-comedy Maddock Films Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. He will also feature in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is basking the success of Brahmastra. She will be next seen in Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh. She has bagged a Hollywood film Heart Of Stone and completed the shooting of the same few months back.
