The film is based on the life of a revolutionary freedom fighter, Udham Singh who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer as revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It will be interesting to see Vicky portray such a dynamic role on the big screen.
Maidaan
Maidaan is a sports-drama starring versatile actor Ajay Devgn as the main lead. The movie is based on the golden era of football in India. It is about how coach Syed Abdul Rahim helped the team garner worldwide fame. Devgn will play the role of Coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the much-awaited movie. Maidaan will release on Oct 15, 2021.
Shabaash Mithu
Taapsee Pannu has a few sports-drama films in her kitty for the year 2021 and Shabaash Mithu is among them. The movie is based on the life of the former skipper of India’s women cricket team, Mithali Raj. For the movie, Taapsee is undergoing physical training to nail her role with perfection.
