Ulajh Box Office Verdict: Janhvi Kapoor Starrer “Hit Or Flop”?

BoxOffice: Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the highly anticipated Bollywood spy thriller Ulajh premiered in theaters on August 2, alongside Ajay Devgn’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Regrettably, the film received unfavorable reviews from both critics and audiences, along with a lackluster box office performance upon its release. Now that the film has completed its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Ulajh Box Office Collection Day 7

Despite the buzz, Janhvi Kapoor starrer, spy thriller Ualjh made a box office opening worth a mere ₹ 1.15 Cr. After a disappointing opening, the film witnessed “no” significant growth during the weekend, earning ₹ 1.75 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2 Cr on Sunday.

After seeing no growth during the weekend, the film dropped even further during the weekdays earning ₹ 0.65 Cr on Monday, ₹ 0.65 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 0.55 Cr on Wednesday and ₹ 0.50 Cr on Thursday. The first-week box office collection of “Ulajh” now stands at a total of only ₹ 7.25 Cr. It should be noted that the film has even “failed” to cross the 10cr mark by the end of its first week at the box office.

Ulajh Hit Or Flop?

Made on an estimated box office budget of Rs 50 Crores, Janhvi Kapoor starrer “Ulajh” has barely managed to cross the 5cr mark and is still struggling to cross the 10cr mark at the box office. Considering the film’s current performance it’s high likely that the film will not recover its production cost any time soon. With that being said, Janhvi Kapoor’s film, “Ulajh” can be deemed as a box office “flop“.
