Twinkle Khanna gave up on her acting career two decades ago admitted that she was terrible at it. She took up writing and turned out to be a successful author and columnist. The best thing about Twinkle is that she knows what she isn’t good at and isn’t afraid to admit that. For example, singing, which she confesses she is terrible at!
On Thursday morning, she posted a video of herself singing ‘Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai’ (originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik). Twinkle dedicated her singing to some yummy laddoos in front of her and said that she is keeping her mouth busy by singing in order to keep herself away from eating them.
She wrote in the caption, “To eat, or not to eat that is a question that Hamlet did not have to grapple with as no one offered him laddoos for breakfast. My solution is to keep my mouth so busy with my off-key singing that the urge and a few ears, collapse quickly in a disgruntled heap.”
Confessing that she is a terrible singer, she wrote, “By the way, how many of you love to sing even when you know you are terrible? Drop your requests in the comments for the next #TuneIntoTwinkle that does not go by the acronym.”
Actress Sonali Bendre has left a laughing emoji on her video.
One of her fans advised her to eat the laddoos. Another fan wrote, “apki awaz bilkul aapki mummy jaisi hai.”
Another person in the comments turned savage as he wrote, “Played it on my Bluetooth speakers and two Pigeons collapsed in my balcony.”
