The last few years have witnessed a steady rise in the viewership of OTT platforms. With the growth of digital platforms, many Bollywood actors are also shifting their focus to OTT. We previously saw Saif Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starring in popular web-series like Sacred Games and Mirzapur. And now, the year 2020 too has witnessed many top Bollywood stars making their OTT debut.
1- The first one is Sushmita Sen who returned to acting after a decade and made her big comeback with web-series Aarya. And needless to say, people just loved her strong comeback.
2- The sensation of 90s, Karisma Kapoor too made her digital debut this year with ALT Balaji’s show Mentalhood. People loved her so much that they have been asking for season 2 already.
3- Legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah who has a marvelous experience of working in films and theatres made his OTT debut with Bandish Bandits which received many positive reviews.
4- Fourth on the list is Abhishek Bachchan who mesmerized the audience with his OTT debut Breath: Into The Shadows which released on Amazon Prime Video. This crime thriller show started premiering in July this year.
5- The last name on this list is Aftab Shivdasani who has given popular films like Hungama, Masti and Awara Paagal Deewana in his career. The actor made his digital debut with crime thriller web series Poison 2 that is available on Zee 5.
