Tiger Shroff revealed that he was depressed after the failure of Heropanti 2.
In the ninth episode of the popular celebrity, talk shows seventh season Koffee With Karan Tiger Shroff graced the couch with Kriti Sanon. Both were roped together in their Hindi debut film Heropanti. The duo started their respective Bollywood career from Heropanti in 2014. After eight years a sequel of the film was released replacing Kriti with Tara Sutaria but it failed at the box office.
Tiger Shroff said, “I was heartbroken. I was depressed. I’m just a very extreme person, I wouldn’t say I sacrificed a lot because I like what I do, and I don’t have a social life and too many friends…” Karan added, “You did a lot of failure eating.” Tiger agreed to it saying, “I’m an emotional eater.”
KJo further asked whether this setback determined him to prove himself again at the box office, and he said, “I’m even hungrier right now. I’m not the type to get adulation–like great work, look at how well he has done. For me, my validation is the box office. I live for those whistles and all when I land, and I am about to save the day.”
Heropanti 2 is an extended franchise of romantic action drama. The lead actor Tiger Shroff remained the same in Heropanti 2 while the female lead Kriti Sanon was replaced by Tara Sutaria.
