Pusha fame Rashmika Mandanna and action hero Tiger Shroff have collaborated for their first Bollywood film. The two are reported to appear in Karan Johar’s next. The movie was under plans so far but will go on floors soon. Ever since the news surfaced of the two superstars from their respective industry pairing alongside, fans are eagerly waiting for a new update.
We have pulled out a recent update surrounding the film helmed by Shashank Khaitan. The makers have titled the film ‘Screw Dheela’ and it is expected to be an action-packed entertainer. Tiger Shroff and Rashmika Mandanna will amaze the fans with their chemistry as both will appear in a film for the first time but they have worked together before for an ad.
As per sources close to the development, “The title is derived from the traits of Tiger Shroff’s character in the film. It’s a wacky character and hence, the film has got a whacky title – Screw Dheela – which means Sanki.”
The film will go on floors from September and will be shot in India and Europe. The first schedule is expected to kick off in September and both leads will be a part of this. Karan Johar will bankroll the film under the banners of Dharma Production and the team is excited with the massy title Screw Dheela.
The source further added: “It’s not one of those run-of-the-mill actioner but has a strong story too and falls in the zone that Tiger has not explored before. The film will be released by mid 2023.”
Meanwhile, Karan Johar has Liger, Brahmastra, Govinda Naam Mera, Mr. Aur Mrs. Mahi, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani to be produced. He is also directing Ranveer and Alia’s upcoming film after a long time.
Student of the year 2 actor will reunite with Dharma Production for the second time. On the work front, Tiger Shroff last starred in Heropanti 2 with Tara Sutaria. He has Ganpath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the kitty.
Rashmika Mandanna is all geared up for a Bollywood career holding three projects in hand. Apart from Screw Dheela, the south diva has two more Hindi films in her bag. She recently wrapped up her Goodbye shoot with Amitabh Bachchan. She will also share screen space with Siddharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu.
