These Bollywood Celebs Condemn The Violence In Delhi

While Bollywood has voiced his opinion about the law whether it was pro or anti, many have taken to Twitter to talk about the violence.

Following the ongoing imbalance caused by the NRC CAA, Delhi saw a violent turn yesterday that left 7 dead, many severely injured, and a loss of property in the midst of the visit to India by US President Donald Trump. While many Bollywood names have spoken strongly on the issue, today Anurag Kashyap, Sonam Kapoor, and a few others have taken to condemn the violence.

The debate has been going on over NRC CAA for several months now. There were many protests throughout the country, especially in the capital. Yesterday the Delhi protest escalated into violence as the Delhi police and the Delhi commoners were loggerheads. It led to the death of one police officer and six protesters, leaving many injured.

Although Bollywood has voiced his opinion about the law whether it was pro or anti, many have taken to Twitter to speak about the violence. Besides Sonam and Anurag, the same was also spoken by Gauhar Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Richa Chadha, Swara Bhasker, Raveena Tondon and a few more.

Anurag Kashyap lashed out Delhi’s chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, and wrote “Shame on you @ArvindKejriwa.” Actress Gauahar Khan wrote, “Where is this hate coming from ??? a scull cap , a bearded man , either bleeding or being branded a terrorist, but I ask , who r then these ppl with the sticks ???? No beard , No scull cap yet attackers ,
terrorising a non threatening man , making him bleed! #lynching #hating.”

Below is a compilation of all the reactions of Bollywood celebs on the current scenario in the capital.
