When Govinda and his family, wife Sunita, and kids Tina and Yashwarshan made an appearance on one of the latest episodes of the “Kapil Sharma Show”, it was indeed a laughing riot of an episode. Krushna, who’s a regular part of the show was seen missing from that very episode. It is believed that Krushna refused to do the episode because of Govinda’s appearance on the show.

Everyone remembers an old interview where Sunita Ahuja was seen saying that there’s no way that the two families can reconcile, leaving no room for acceptance. Actually, the feud began when Krushna made a comment that irked Mama Govinda. Govinda was left extremely upset when Krushna was seen saying “Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai” in one of his comic episodes back in 2016. Govinda had then slammed his nephew and had said he “was making money by insulting others on television” although Krushna believed he never said it in a bad taste.

Later when Krushna was hosting his show “the comedy night love”, Govinda had avoided appearing on his show as a guest to support him but had instead visited “The Kapil Sharma Show” along with his wife and daughter Tina to promote his film. This had left Krushna hurt, “Somehow our dates didn’t seem to match. I messaged him again four days ago, but to my shock, I learned that he and his wife were shooting with Kapil. I was aghast as I expected him to support his nephew,” he had shared.

Two years forward, this time it was Kashmera Shah, Krushna’s wife who had made an insensitive comment, she had tweeted about her saying “people who dance for money.” Sunita alleged that the comment was meant for Govinda and had hence decided to cut off all allies with them once and for all. Although Krushna later clarified that Kashmera’s tweet was towards his sister Aarti Singh, nothing changed and the feud between the two families grew even deeper.

Then in 2019 when the “Mama-Mami” duo made an appearance again on “The Kapil Sharma show”, Sunita had specifically asked the makers to not share the screen along with Krushna, who played the character ‘Sapna’.

“I was told by the team that Sunita Mami didn’t want me to be a part of the segment featuring them. So I appeared in a gig before their entry. It was sad and shocking, as my character (Sapna) is an integral part of the show,” Krushna had said.

And then in the year 2020 when Govinda appeared on “The Kapil Sharma show” again, this time for a difference all alone, the makers of the show thought Krushna can perform the episode but this time, nephew Krushna thought of retaliating it back. “I learned about Chi Chi mama coming on the show around 10 days ago. Since Sunita Mami wasn’t accompanying him, the team thought that I would have no qualms performing. However, the incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Last year, she didn’t want me to perform in front of them, but this time, I had reservations” he said.

Striking at this, Sunita took a dig at Krushna and had accused him of avoiding them every time on the show. “Whenever we appear on the show, he says something about us in the media just for publicity. It makes no sense to discuss a family matter in public. Govinda may not respond or retaliate, but it upsets and infuriates me,”

Kashmera retaliated saying, “Who is this Sunita? I have made my own name. I am not known as someone’s wife’ while Sunita reacted to the statement saying “We are happy in our life and I am so busy that I don’t have time to look at such people”.

After all this, we only hope that the two families sort out their misunderstandings and that the ‘Mama and Bhanja’ put a stop to this banter once and for all.
