Directed by filmmaker, Hansal Mehta, the Bollywood crime thriller opened up to positive reviews and reactions upon its release. However, despite the positive reviews, many reports suggest that Kareena’s crime thriller will probably make a “poor” opening at the box office, with chances of becoming her lowest opener in a “decade”.

The Buckingham Murders Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction

Despite receiving positive reviews from critics as well as the public, Kareena Kapoor’s crime thriller, The Buckingham Murders might not successfully make a decent opening at the box office. Several box office reports and trade experts have suggested that the film might only open in the range of 1-2cr. Which is considerably low, considering Kareena’s previous film Crew collected ₹ 9.25 Cr on its opening day.

Film expert Girish Johar estimated that The Buckingham Murders could open with Rs 1.5-2 crore at the box office, noting its success will largely depend on word of mouth. If it turns out to be true, then the crime thriller could be Kareena Kapoor Khan’s lowest box office opener in 15 years, with her last film to earn under Rs 3 crore being Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in 2009, according to Filmibeat.
