Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the limelight ever since his 2018 venture Zero flopped at the Box Office. However, from the past couple of months, there have been speculations that SRK will be a part of many upcoming movies. Speaking of the same, the hearsay suggests that actress Taapsee Pannu has been roped in opposite SRK for Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie.
If the rumour turns out to be right then Taapsee Pannu will be sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. The film helmed by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is reportedly is a social commentary.
The news about the same has been making rounds on the internet. However, neither Rajkumar Hirani nor Shah Rukh Khan has reacted to the news.
The news of Taapsee Pannu playing the female lead opposite SRK was reported by Filmfare. As per the sources close to the production, the film is a social comedy on immigration. The story will take the masses on a journey from Punjab to Canada.
The venture was to kick-start in August 2020 but due to the pandemic, the makers had no option rather than changing the shooting dates. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are eagerly waiting for the travel restriction to ease out.
Sources claim King Khan’s character in the movie is pleasant and emotional at the same time. On the other hand, more information about Taapsee’s character in the movie is not out yet.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be starring in YRF’s movie Pathan. In the movie, he is going to be pitted up against John Abraham.
Speaking of Taapsee Pannu, she has films like Rashmi Rocket, Loop Lapeta, and much more safe in her kitty.
