Things went awry between Taapsee Pannu and Kangana Ranaut a few years ago when the latter’s sister, Rangoli Chandel, dubbed the former Kangana’s “Sasti copy”. The Panga actress herself has poked fun at the Thappad actress multiple times in her tweet. Now Pannu recently revealed in an interview if he will ever speak to Ranaut.

Speaking to Lallantop, Taapsee said, “To be honest, I don’t know. But if there’s a situation where she’s in front of me, I’ll go and say hi. She doesn’t have a problem but Kangana does have one- she said.

She’s a very good actress and when she said ‘sasti copy’ I took that as a compliment.”
In 2019, Kangana’s sister Rangoli tweeted: “Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain (some people do business by copying Kangana) but they never acknowledge her, not even mention her name.” In the last trailer, I heard Taapsee ji say that Kangana needs a double filter and Taapsee ji needs to stop being a Sasti copy.”(DNA)

Kangana later said in a TV interview that Taapsee and Swara Bhasker are B-class actors who don’t get jobs in Bollywood, even though they are “chaploos” (bootlickers). Taapsee replied to her to the Hindustan Times: “Yes, I’ve been banned from films and replaced by child stars, but the fact that Kangana and her sister (Rangoli Chandel) are trying to discredit me and my hard work by insulting me puts it the false accusations against me, it’s an equal amount of harassment, if not more.”
