Swara Bhasker Attacks Trolls On KJo, Says, “Your dislike Doesn’t Mean He’s A Murderer”

Swara Bhasker is one of the most straightforward and outspoken actresses in the town. The actress is known for voicing her opinions and views. While in a recent interview the actress attacked the people and trolls targeting Karan Johar for different reasons like nepotism and others. Commenting on the same Swara said, “You can say a lot of things about Karan Johar…..but your dislike doesn’t mean that he is a murderer.”

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has often been the target of online trolls, while many blamed the filmmaker for “nepotism” others were seen raising his name in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case alleging that he alienated the late actor from the industry.

Commenting on the same, Tanu Weds Manu actress Swara Bhasker came in support of Karan, talking to Connect FM Canada, Swara said, “There’s an atmosphere of fear. This is an industry—there is this idea of not engaging in controversy. There is a genuine belief that the industry has, that if there’s a controversy happening, it’s best not to bother about it.”

She added,  “So, even when they’re attacked, they don’t say anything. You can say a lot of things about Karan Johar, you can think his films are terrible and have issues with nepotism, but your dislike doesn’t mean that he is a murderer.”

Swara Bhasker’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Swara returned to films after four years. Veere Di Wedding was her last movie with Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Shikha Talsania. Swara will now be seen in Jahaan Chaar Yaar, a film directed by Kamal Pandey. The story is about four housewives who take off on a Goa trip, starring Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania along with Swara Bhasker. Produced by Vinod Bachchan the film will release on 16th September.
