Sushmita Sen returned to the screens last year after a 10-year-long break. Disney+Hotstar series Aarya marked her acting comeback and OTT debut in 2020. Aarya also stars Chandrachur Singh, who plays Sushmita’s husband in the series.
Aarya was widely appreciated by the fans and the critics. And since then, fans have been demanding season 2 of the show. Sushmita recently came Live on her official Instagram handle and gave an update about Aarya season 2. Sharing the details, she said, “The last schedule of ‘Aarya’ is left and it is not a long one. It should be done very soon. What is important is the love and appreciation you have given ‘Aarya’. When we come back you have to love season two. You have to wait for good things.”

Sushmita hopes that the new season will also be received well by the audiences. She who was accompanied by her two daughters Renee and Alisah along with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl during Instagram Live, thanked her fans for their love and support throughout her career. She said, “You guys have inspired me, every day, for decades now. To be a better person, to be giving, because that’s what you’ve done for me.”
