Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen recently ended her relationship with Rohman Shawl. Sushmita and Rohman announced their relationship in 2018. They lived as a family and often expressed their love on social media.
On Dec 23, 2021, Sushmita shared a picture with Rohman confirming her break-up. She wrote, “We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!!”
However, neither of them talked about the reason behind their break-up.
Recently, Sushmita came Live on Instagram where she interacted with her fans. When a fan asked her to share her opinions on ‘respect’, she said, “Respect means everything to me. I put that above love, any day. Because love is something that you feel with great intensity and then you can fall out of it with the same amount of intensity. And then there’s this whole movie business and books where we take you on a journey of a very unrealistic idea of love, where there are no problems or responsibilities. It’s a beautiful idea and it’s great to experience that. But love means nothing where there is no respect. Love can go away, but if there’s respect, love gets a second chance to exist and evolve. But if you only focus on love, it will always be temporary.”
“Where there is no respect, love takes a backseat. That’s how important respect is to me,” she concluded.
On the work front, Sushmita was last seen in Aarya season 2 that streams on Disney+Hotstar.
