As the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput case is progressing, new and shocking facts are surfacing. The involvement of drugs is been reported in the case. While some reports suggest that Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik has a close connection with drug suppliers, it is also said that Sushant used to regularly take drugs. The lawyer of Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi has also confirmed the same.
Statement of Shruti Modi’s Lawyer:
Shruti Modi’s lawyer told that Shruti wanted to quit working with Sushant after she came to know. He said, “When she found out about it after 10 days of joining, Shruti decided to quit but Sushant told her to stay back and told her that he will not be party to it. So she continued to work as his manager on this condition.”
It is also reported that Shruti told CBI that Rhea and Showik used to force her to join them as they took drugs. However, it is not known how true these reports are! A public statement has been issued by CBI which states that the agency does not share details of the ongoing investigation and any media reports attributed to CBI shall not be trusted.
The statement reads, “The CBI is conducting investigation related to death of Sh. Sushant Singh Rajput in a systematic and professional way. Certain media reports attributed to CBI investigation are speculative and not based on facts. It is reiterated that as a matter of Policy, CBI does not share details of ongoing investigation. CBI spokesperson or any team member has not shared any details of investigation with media. The details being reported and attributed to CBI are not credible. It is requested that media may please confirm details from CBI Spokesperson before quoting CBI.”
